High-pressure lift check valve
I. Introduction:
The structure of the H61Y high-pressure lift check valve is generally similar to that of a globe valve. Its disc moves along the center line of the channel, with reliable operation, but it has relatively high fluid resistance, making it suitable for applications with smaller diameters. Lift check valves can be divided into two types: straight-through type and vertical type. Straight-through lift check valves can generally only be installed on horizontal pipelines, while vertical lift check valves should generally be installed on vertical pipelines. The disc rotates around the rotating shaft, and its fluid resistance is generally lower than that of lift check valves, making it suitable for applications with larger diameters. The disc of the lift check valve that slides along the vertical center line of the valve body – the high-pressure lift check valve – can only be installed on horizontal pipelines. For high-pressure small-diameter check valves, the disc can be spherical. The valve body of the butterfly check valve has the same shape as that of a globe valve (it can be interchangeable with a globe valve), so its fluid resistance coefficient is relatively large. Its structure is similar to that of a globe valve, and the valve body and disc are the same as those of a globe valve. A guide sleeve is machined on the upper part of the disc and the lower part of the valve cover, and the disc guide sleeve can freely lift within the valve cover guide sleeve. When the medium flows forward, the disc is opened by the thrust of the medium; when the medium stops flowing, the disc falls onto the valve seat by its own weight, preventing the medium from flowing backward. The direction of the medium inlet and outlet channels of the straight-through butterfly check valve is perpendicular to the direction of the valve seat channel; for vertical lift check valves, the direction of the medium inlet and outlet channels is the same as that of the valve seat channel, and its flow resistance is lower than that of the straight-through type.
II. Installation and Maintenance:
1. Both ends of the valve's passage must be plugged, and the valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. If stored for a long time, rust prevention should be checked regularly.
2. Before installation, clean the valve thoroughly and eliminate defects caused during transportation.
3. During installation, carefully verify whether the marks and nameplates on the valve meet the usage requirements.
4. Lift check valves with vertical discs should be installed on horizontal pipelines.
5. Lift check valves with horizontal discs should be installed on vertical pipelines.
6. Do not place weight on the check valve in the pipeline; large check valves should be independently supported to avoid being affected by pressure from the piping system.
7. When installing the check valve, pay special attention to the medium flow direction, ensuring that the normal flow direction of the medium is consistent with the arrow direction indicated on the valve body; otherwise, the normal flow of the medium will be blocked. The bottom valve should be installed at the bottom of the water pump suction pipeline.
8. Straight-through lift check valves should be installed on horizontal pipelines; vertical lift check valves and bottom valves are generally installed on vertical pipelines, with the medium flowing from bottom to top.
9. When the check valve closes, water hammer pressure will be generated in the pipeline, which may cause damage to the valve, pipeline, or equipment in severe cases, especially for large-diameter or high-pressure pipelines. Therefore, users selecting check valves must pay high attention to this point.
III. Principle and Specifications:
1. When the medium flows in the specified direction, the disc is opened by the force of the medium. When the medium flows backward, due to the disc's own weight and the reverse force from the medium, the sealing surface of the disc closely fits with the valve seat, achieving the purpose of preventing the medium from flowing backward.
2. The sealing surfaces of the valve body and disc are surfaced with stainless steel.
3. The structural length of this valve complies with GB12221-1989, and the flange connection dimensions comply with JB/T79-1994.
